Clinic Happenings from Nurse Jean:
Illness we have seen this week:
- Stomach Virus: With/without fever and diarrhea.
- Bronchitis/Croup: Headache, with/without fever. Croup symptoms include a barking cough. Bronchitis symptoms include a wet, productive cough. Sometimes these children will not have fever, but are not feeling their best and may need to rest at home for recovery.
Friendly Reminders from Nurse Jean:
- Students are not allowed to transport medication to and from school. All medications, including over the counter medicines, must be brought into the clinic by a parent or guardian and a district permission form must be signed.
- Please contact the clinic if your child is absent with an illness. It helps us keep track of our student’s symptoms.
Please do not hesitate to call the clinic if you have any questions. Our direct number is 936-709-1709.
