Clinic Happenings from Nurse Jean:
Illness we have seen this week: Strep Throat – with/without sore throat, with/without fever, with/without nausea.
Friendly Reminders from Nurse Jean: Accidents and spills happen often. Please send an extra change of clothing (including underwear and socks) in your child’s backpack. This is a good idea for all grade level students. In the event your child does not have a spare change of clothing in their backpack and they are sent home with clothing from the clinic, please wash and return the clothing as soon as possible.
Please do not hesitate to call the clinic if you have any questions. Our direct number is 936-709-1709.
Box Tops for Education: Hey Powell Panthers, it is Box Top Collection time again. Send your non-expired Box Tops in a baggie to school with your child starting on Monday, February 6. Remember, each one is worth 10¢. That is easy money! Check out www.btfe.com for a full list of products with Box Tops. Our collection contest will end on Friday, February 24 at 11 a.m. The classroom per grade with the most Box Tops collected will win a classroom party! Keep clipping all year long – we will collect again in the fall! Go to www.btfe.com or www.cashforyoureducation.com for tons of Box Top information!
Do not forget to also check out shoparoo.com and smile.amazon.com for ways to raise easy money for the school!
