Our goal is to encourage and guide students to become independent library users and to instill in them a love of reading.
All classes visit the library within the specials schedule to enjoy hearing stories, learn library and reading skills, and check out books. Examples of lesson are: locating library materials, genres of literature, author focus, and reference skills in coordination with the language arts program and other subjects as needed.
Students may also come to the library with a pass from their teacher to check out books during the school day.
Teachers may sign up for additional time slots to work with their classes on research or special projects.
Parents, teachers, staff, and community members are always welcome to visit our library to check out books or use our computers for research.
